Lose Weight With Herbs?

The conclusion of a study appearing in the medical journal Obesity Review* recently was, "adverse events are reported for a number of herbal food supplements which are used for reducing body weight...'the risk-benefit] balance 'has been shown by our research to be] against the use of most of the reviewed herbal weight-loss supplements."

They found exceptions in yerba mate and cambogia. Serious dangers were reported with use ephedra-containing supplements especially.
