Soy Ingredient vs. Prostate Cancer
"We performed studies to test synergism between the growth inhibitory
effects of genistein 'soy isoflavenoid] and vitamin D compounds on
'prostate lining cells.] .... 'These studies] demonstrate synergism
between the 'prostate] cell growth inhibition elicited by genistein and
that elicited by vitamin D compounds."
Meaning that both genistein
and vitamin D inhibit prostate cancer growth but together even more so.
