In a report from Swiss medicine, "[A]...patient with PD [Parkinson's Disease] should be evaluated for the risk of falling and osteoporosis and routinely be supplemented with [Alternative Medicine] vitamin D."

It added that patients should be asked about their possible use of "bone drugs" such as biphospenates* which could lead to bone breakdown.
