In on Crohn's
Following up on antibodies to target TNF (tumor necrosis factor,) March 11,
2000's issue of The Lancet notes that infliximab (by Centocor,) has now been
licensed in the U.S.A.
'for Crohn's], noting that it "...offers the potential to
alter radically the course of severe cases of this disease."
"Another anti-TNF...CDP571 (Celltech Chiroscience, Slough, U.K.,) has
been clinically evaluated but is not yet licensed for use."
SO THEY FINALLY CAUGHT ON!
But you won't hear much about the NATURAL substances that also reduce TNF,
which include green tea and fish oils.
